Today's entertainment came from our cox Caleb Shepherd completing a 2km erg test on the rowing machine. This was one of the forms of testing they used to select us for the crew and he wanted to go through the pain we do to prove he's just as tough as the rest of us. He came out hard, but it soon caught up with him and 200m in he was feeling the crunch. But he dug deep and pumped it all the way to the end in a time of 8min 38.9sec.
